MA1000W - Wire color code

Question:
I recently purchased a Winegard MA1000W and I have an installation question. The power cable has red, black and orange wires. The red appears to be the 12 volt source, the orange is for the "antenna up" indicator. Is the black wire the negative?

Tech Tip:

The Black wire is the ground and you are also correct about the other two.
