I recently purchased a used motorhome with a Winegard Movin View. I have a DirecTV receiver and the switches are set for 101. The unit tries to find the sat for a couple of minutes then parks at the front for a while then tries again, but I never see any signal. Do you think the GPS antenna is bad?
If the satellite dish is spending a few minutes searching then it is a signal issue not the GPS. A GPS failure will cause the unit to rotate about twice and stop.
