Winegard currently makes a battery operated digital converter. We have not tested it but I understand that it operates on 4 D cell batteries and could be used with your battery operated TV.

Winegard has a battery pack model RCBP9V that can be used to power the Winegard RCDT09A digital converter box with 6 alkaline D cell batteries. In order for you to use a converter box with a battery operated TV set your TV set will need to have an external antenna input. You will also need a separate antenna going to the input of your converter box. The built in antenna on your TV set most likely will not hook up to your converter box.
