I am assembling this antenna and have a question about attaching the cartridge housing bottom. The cartridge has two protruding printed circuit tabs labeled J1 and J4. The metal pins attached to J1 are perfectly straight while the metal pins attached to J4 are bent.
My two questions are:
1) Should I straighten the pins on J4, or bend the pins on J1?
2) Is the orientation of the cartridge critical? It can be snapped into place either of two ways 180 degrees opposite.
Both clips on the cartridge board are to be straight before snapping the board and housing onto the antenna. Please carefully straighten your bent pins. It does not matter which direction the housing is snapped on.
