SF-1000 - Clearing Confusion

Question:
I have a Winegard SF-1000 and I am having trouble understanding these instructions. How do we connect the receiver which is in the house to the SF-1000 & therefore, the satellite dish when the cable is way too short?

Tech Tip:

The short coax is to run from the SF-1000 to your LNB. Disconnect the coax running from the Receiver to the LNB. Connect this cable to the SF-1000 and set the sensitivity. Then use the short cable to run from the SF-1000 to the LNB.
