I have a Winegard RV2001A antenna. I am now using the antenna in an area where I receive a marginal digital signal. The slightest storm between my location and the transmitting tower will cause the signal to break up, and I have to revert to the analog signal (which will no longer be available in February). What can I do to increase the sensitivity of my unit? Is your present amplified head more sensitive than my present unit, and if so, is it interchangeable? Also, does a tree between the antenna and the tower reduce the signal to the antenna?
Trees between the antenna and the source of the signal will decrease the signal. As far as the antenna head is concerned, there is no functional difference between your's and our newest model.
