I have a Winegard Sensar unit and I was wondering how do you lube the unit. My unit goes up ok, but rotating it is a problem.
If it is just a rotation issue it could be that the 15/16 nut that holds the unit together has gotten too tight. To correct this you will want to remove the interior parts (Ceiling plate, Crank handle and Rotation handle). With these out of the way you can use a deep welled socket to back the nut off about a 1/16 of a turn. You can also lube the unit by spraying the gear assembly on the roof with silicon spray. DO NOT use WD-40 as it will cause the rubber parts to degrade.
