My system seems to have failed. I have tested my cables and they seem to be ok. Testing my batwing head shows open circuit. Has my head failed? I'm using a cable tester but I do not know if head unit is a open or closed circuit.
The unit will always show OPEN. Do you have 12VDC on the coax connected to the antenna when the unit is ON? If not you need to find where you are losing this voltage. If you have the voltage but do not have any reception you probably need to replace the antenna head.
