AS-2003 - Popping sounds

Question:
My Winegard AS-2003 will aquire my Express Vu signal at 87-92% but will not look on. I can shut the unit off at aquisition and watch tv, but I have to time it just right. Can you tell me what to do to make it lock on and stay locked on? It has always worked great before. I have also noticed the unit making a popping sound.

Tech Tip:

The popping sound is coming from a broken spot on your gears causing them to slip. You will need an RP-RM25 kit. Your local dealer should be able to order this for you. You can find a local dealer using our dealer locator.
