I purchased a used RV and I am having trouble with the TV. I have a video control center# VS-1101 and when I connect the input antenna cable to control box it blows the fuse. So checking the coaxial cable fitting on wall plate we found a closed circiut. This wall plate has the amplifier with the cigarette lighter fitting. Should it be a closed connection, or is it faulty? If I put a new fuse in control center it all lights up but as soon as I connect the cable to wall plate the fuse goes out.
You may have a bad piece of coax. If you have a short on the coax you will see something like this.
