Advancing Antenna Technology

The patented FlatWave^® design involved years of development including discussions with the NAB and FCC. The challenge was to cheat physics and design a compact antenna capable of receiving digital signal for not only UHF, but also VHF.

The trade off other companies chose to take was to sacrifice VHF reception in order to get the compact size, therefore preventing consumers from receiving some major networks. With 60 years of antenna design expertise, Winegard was able to once again develop the most advanced indoor antenna series, the razor thin FlatWave.
