Product Development Engineer

Winegard Company seeks professional to develop electronics and core software for auto-aiming and tracking satellite antenna systems. Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or software engineering required. General analog, digital and power supply circuit design experience needed. Working knowledge of design software Agilent ADS, SPICE, Mentor graphics, Altium, Protel and LabView preferred. Experience in developing C/C++ software for embedded real-time systems a plus. Experience with ARM and/or PIC families of processors, Windows CE/XP embedded operating systems, XINU operating system, statistical analysis (DOE, CPK, parameter distribution, JMP, Excel ANOVA, …) helpful. Must work well in team environment and possess strong analytical skills for technical problem solving and have experience in supporting production applications. Mechanical Engineer

Winegard Company seeks professional to support manufacturing and mechanical design in our Residential Satellite Products Group. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required. Prefer candidate with design and manufacturing experience in progressive die tooling, plastic injection molded parts, die cast aluminum parts, mechanical linkage design, satellite antenna design, etc. Must possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Proficiency with PTC Wildfire or Pro/E a plus. Must be a self-starter and capable of tasks with minimal supervision. Experience in mechanical environment, ex. Automotive, agricultural , machine shop, etc. desired. Must be capable of working in a fast-opaced environment.
